Our government would do more to open the energy, transportation environmentalprotections telecommunications, banking,securities, insurance and commerce. For this,China has to advance the reform of its management system, strengthen the managementand improve service to enhance competitiveness. Meanwhile, it should intensify controlover the examination and approval procedures, and reinforce supervision over the servicesector according to Chinese law.
Improvements should be made to the management of cultural products, and relatedlaw and regulations should be developed to the point of perfect management. China shouldexpand its cooperation and exchange with other countries, while enforcing strictexamination and approval standards on the introduction of foreign cultural products toprevent the import of unhealthy items.Many practical rules and operational mechanisms of the WTO may seem quite new to theChinese, which requires them to adapt their thinking.
